Opening times:
Winter season 2018-2019: We open 14/12-2018 and close for the season 22/4-2019.
The lifts are open 09.00-15.30 at the start of the season. We then extend it to 16.30 when ther is sufficient daylight. The illuminated pistes are open until 18.00 every day.
The Welcome Centre reception, shop and hire facilities are open every day (during the season) 08.30-18.00.
Tranantorget reception, shop are open every day (during the season) 09.00-18.00.

Medical Centre at Kläppen!
New for this year is that we have a medical centre at Kläppen.
The surgery is a little brown timber building up by the piste machine garage. The surgery is marked by a cross on the piste map. See Kläppen today for opening times

Where should I check in? And what time?
You check in by picking up your envelope at one of our check in stations.

Check in times:
15.00 - Gusjöbyn, Kläppens stugby, Horrmundberget, Sjungarbacken.
16.00 - Gullbrändan, Kläppbacken, Mitt i pisten, Örebäcken.

Who do I check out and what time?
You check out in reception at the Welcome Centre, if you are leaving before 08.30 when the reception is closed, you can put the keys in the key box to the right of the entrance to the Welcome Centre.

Check out times:
10.00 Kläppbacken, Örebäcken, Mitt i pisten and Gullbrändan.
11.00 Sjungarbacken, Gusjöbyns stugby, Gusjöbyns tomtområde, Kläppen stugby, Horrmundberget.

If you have purchased cleaning upon departure, check out must take place one hour earlier (10.00).

Where do I collect my pre-booked lift card?
Your pre-booked ski pass will be in your arrival envelope if you booked the ski pass and cabin on the same booking number.

Where do I collect my pre-booked ski hire?
If you have ordered for you skis to be delivered, they will be in the cabin when you check in, alternatively, you can collect them in ski hire at the Welcome Centre.

Is there Internet/Wifi in the cabin
Some of our cabins/apartments offer free WIFI in the accommodation. Use the search term WIFI in the online booking to see which cabins/apartments offer this. We also have some hotspots at Kläppen where you can browse free of charge. Read more about these zones here

Where is the assembly point for the ski school
Regardless of whether you signed up for a group or private lesson, it is easy to find your instructor. In the ski area there are assembly signs for the type of lesson you booked.

Where can I find the nearest doctor?
Doctors can be found in Sälen, approximately 20 km north of Kläppen. The health centre is situated in Centrumhuset in the centre of the village, immediately opposite Coop Konsum and above Systembolaget.

Where can I find the nearest chemist?
The chemist is situated in Sälen village, approximately 14 kilometres north of Kläppen. The chemist is situated in Centrumhuset, in the same building as Systembolaget, immediately opposite Coop Konsum.

Where can I shop for food at Kläppen?
You will find our store, Handlar ’n at Kläppen camping.

Options when booking: Cot, high chair, child safety gate and bed linen set
It is advisable to book these options for your visit via klappen.se and your page or via our booking on +46 (0) 280 96200. They will then be in your cabin upon arrival no later than 17.00.

Where can I purchase cleaning upon departure and what does it cost?
It is advisable to book cleaning upon departure by 13.00 the day before departure. It is advisable to book via klappen.se and your page or via our booking on +46 (0) 280 96200. The cost varies depending on the size of the cabin, you will see this via your page or by calling our booking line.

When can I return my hired equipment?
You return your equipment no later than 10.00 the day after the last day of hire.

How do I extend my hire?
You can extend your hire in the hire facility at the Welcome Centre or in the shop at Tranantorget no later than 10.00 the day after the last day of hire.

How close to arrival can I pre-order my equipment??
You can pre-order your equipment by 12.00 the day prior to arrival.

Can I service my private equipment with you?
We service all types of alpine equipment as well as, of course, cross-country skis.
