Celebrate the grand opening of the alpine season with us. We kick off the winter season by opening Gondol Sälen an hour before the other lifts open. Bring the family and get ready for an unforgettable start to the winter season at Kläppen.
Programme for the opening weekend
Friday 12 December
- 08:00 Alpine season opening
Take your first turns of the year. We are kicking off the new season by opening Gondol Sälen an hour before the other lifts. We will be serving saffron buns, gingerbread and mulled wine, and handing out gifts to the first 50 people in line. - 09:00 Other lifts open
- 09:00 - 15:00 Ski test
Visit our Test Centre at Tranantorget and test the latest models of alpine skis and snowboards from K2, Atomic, Burton and Salomon. The ski test is free of charge.
Saturday 13 December
- 09:00 - 18:00 The ski resort is open
