Njupeskär is Sweden's highest waterfall and is located in the beautiful Fulufjället National Park. The waterfall is an incredible 93 metres high and has a dizzying drop of 70 metres. As the waterfall generates a humid climate, many unusual lichens, mosses and vascular plants grow in this particular spot. This undoubtedly adds to the magic of the place.

Description: The hike to the waterfall goes through very old forest, around 400 years old, and gives a magical impression as it winds through the forest up to the falls.
Around the waterfall: If you want a more challenging hike, you can walk around the waterfall. The terrain is steep and the moisture from the waterfall can make it slippery in some places, so caution is advised. The terrain above the waterfall is also demanding, and the trail crosses large boulders.
