On Thursday 27 February, we welcome you to Kläppen 45 km. The course is the same as Kläppen 90 km and goes via the three kilometre long Lämmeltåget descent. To reach a total of 45 kilometres, each participant will ski from the top to the bottom of the piste 16 times.
Vasaloppet is the sponsor of the event and will offer the classic wheat buns and blueberry soup to the participants. After the finish, a well-deserved medal awaits each participant.
Before the start, participants will be divided into different starting groups, with the first group setting off at
19.00 with Gondol Sälen up to the top. New for this year is that we only measure the time downhill, in the gondola the time is stopped. Each competitor will receive an individual chip that records time and number of rides in the gondola. The finish area is at the gondola's valley station.
Arrangements:
- 18.30 - Riders meet at the gondola valley station.
- 19.00 - Start first start group
- 22.45 - Draw the line.
- The time of the award ceremony will be announced on site.
