Kläppen's Snow Guarantee

We guarantee almost 40% of our slopes

At Kläppen, we guarantee that at least 16 of our 41 slopes will be open on your arrival day, from the start of the alpine season in December until the end of the season in April. That's almost 40% of the mountain's slopes, all connected within one lift system. If we cannot meet the guarantee, you can rebook or cancel your accommodation.

Carefully selected slopes for varied skiing

For us, the snow guarantee is about more than the number of open slopes. We carefully select which slopes are included to give you the best possible skiing experience. That's why we make sure several of our most popular slopes are part of the guarantee. The slopes are also spread across Kläppenberget, allowing you to explore different parts of the mountain using the lifts and enjoy a variety of skiing.

If the snow guarantee is not met

If fewer than 16 slopes are open on your arrival day, you can choose to cancel your stay. You can then:

• receive a refund for the accommodation you have paid for

• rebook your stay for another period

• choose a more expensive period and pay the difference

To use the snow guarantee, you need to:

• cancel no earlier than two days before arrival

• cancel no later than your arrival day

• cancel before checking into your accommodation

Still want to visit Kläppen?

You are welcome to visit even if the snow guarantee is not met. In that case:

• If you have pre-booked your Ski Pass, you will receive a 20% refund on the price of your Ski Pass for the period.

• If you have not pre-booked your Ski Pass, you will receive a 20% discount when purchasing a Ski Pass for your stay.

Snow guarantee for cross-country skiing

For cross-country passes and combo passes, we guarantee at least 2 kilometres of open cross-country trails on your arrival day.

If the guarantee is not met:

• Cross-country pass: We will refund the cost.

• Combo pass: We will refund the difference between the combo pass and a standard Ski Pass for the same period
