News for the 2026/2027 winter weason

Last winter marked a big step forward for Kläppen. This season, we’re continuing to invest in improvements that will make your experience on the mountain even better. Expect more snow, better slopes, a renovated restaurant and several other upgrades for the 2026/2027 winter season.

More snow from day one

This winter, we’re making a major investment in snowmaking. With a new supply pipeline and 24 new fixed snow cannons, we’ll be able to produce more snow in less time. That means more well-prepared slopes from the very start of the season and an even stronger Snow Guarantee with at least 16 open slopes and groomed cross-country trails.

Even better slopes

Several slopes are being upgraded ahead of winter. We’re improving the terrain, enhancing drainage and widening parts of Rådjursstigen. We’ve also invested in new snow groomers to ensure even better slope conditions every morning.

A new Tranan

Restaurant Tranan is being renovated and expanded ahead of the winter season. The restaurant will become larger and more welcoming, Bageriet will get its own takeaway section, and a new pub will open inside the building. A new entrance from the children's area will also make it even easier to reach Tranan.

More electric snowmobiles

We’re expanding our fleet of electric snowmobiles as part of our ongoing commitment to a more sustainable resort. Our goal is to achieve completely fossil-free operations by the 2027/2028 winter season.

Improvements for guests and staff

Not every improvement is immediately visible. This winter, we’re also renovating workshops, staff facilities and operational areas to give our team even better conditions to take care of you during your stay.
