Festive premiere weekend at Kläppen

Three days with the first turns of the year and an opening weekend worth celebrating. We start with Gondol Sälen's 10th anniversary, featuring bubbly, canapés, and music. On the slope, you can test skis, join a free trial lesson with our ski instructors and take part in activities for the whole family. On Saturday, there will also be a Christmas market at Tranantorget.

    Challenge the family in a premiere multisport event where fun activities are mixed with puzzling questions. Great prizes await the winners, and we will also raffle prizes among all participants.

    Visit our Test Centre at Tranantorget and take the opportunity to try the latest skis and snowboards for this winter.

    At Tranantorget and inside Hotell Kurbits, various exhibitors gather to sell their crafts and offer inspiration for Christmas. Here, you will find everything from local handicrafts and handmade products to delicacies and lovely Christmas gifts.

    One hour before the other lifts open, we start Gondol Sälen. If you're one of the first 50 people to join us to the top, there's also a lovely gift waiting for you.

Programme for the Alpine Premiere

Friday 11 December

08.00 Gondol Sälen's 10th Anniversary
An hour before other lifts open, we will start the gondola with an extra festive jubilee atmosphere. Selected gondolas will offer bubbles and snacks along with music and lights. Trolle & Trolla will join us to celebrate, and the first 50 guests will also receive a goodie bag.

09.00 Other lifts open

09.00 to 15.00 Ski test on the slope
Try out the latest alpine skis and snowboards of the season directly on the slope. You can find our Test centre at the bottom of Familjebacken.

09.00 to 15.00 Taster lesson
Take a few turns with one of our experienced ski instructors and get tips to help you with your winter skiing, completely free. Meet at our Test centre.

10.00 to 14.00 Premiere multi-sport event
Gather the family and challenge each other in fun events and tricky questions. Great prizes await and participation is free. At 15.00 we meet at the outdoor stage at Tranantorget and announce the winners.

09.00 to 18.00 Skiing

09.00 to 15.00 Taster lesson

11.00 to 15.00 Christmas market
Take a break from skiing and get into the Christmas spirit at Tranantorget and Hotell Kurbits. Exhibitors will offer crafts, delicacies and lovely Christmas gifts.
