Each lodging has its own style and equipment, making your stay unique. Here you will find information to make your stay easier and more comfortable. If you need any assistance, we are close by and happy to help.

Good to know

Errors and issues
Contact reception if something is not working or if you are missing something. If you have feedback regarding cleaning upon arrival, please get in touch by 11:00 the day after arrival at tel +46 (0)280–962 18. For urgent issues when reception is closed, contact the emergency service.

No smoking and pet-free
Please respect the no smoking and pet-free policy. If breached, a cleaning fee from 2,500 kronor will apply. The accommodation is not allergy-sanctioned.

Night-time - show consideration
Please show consideration between 23:00 and 07:00 to ensure a peaceful stay for everyone. For disturbances, contact the emergency service. Disruptive behaviour may lead to immediate eviction.

WIFI and TV
Some cabins have WIFI, as indicated in your booking confirmation. The code is usually found on or under the router. For issues, contact the emergency service. You can also use the KLAPPENGUEST network at Hotell Kurbits, Toppstugan, and Kläppentorget. The selection of TV channels varies between different lodgings.

Snow clearing and sanding
Roads, parking areas, and yards are cleared by our contractors. There is usually a broom and a snow shovel at the accommodation to keep the entrance clear of snow; please use them and return them afterwards. In icy conditions, sand is available in the sandboxes in the area. 

Recycling
Dispose of food waste, paper, plastic, metal, and other types of waste at our recycling stations. Compost bags are available to collect there. Do not leave rubbish on steps or terraces as it can attract pests. Read more about where your nearest recycling station is located.

Apartment Equipment

Kitchenware
In each lodging, there is an inventory list for kitchenware. If anything is missing, please contact the reception.

Need extra equipment?
Contact the reception if you wish to rent a high chair, cot, or linen set. At departure, leave the equipment in the apartment and place the rented linen set in the hallway.

Dishwasher
If the dishwasher doesn't take in water, make sure the control on the kitchen tap is turned on (on/off).

Oven
If the oven doesn't work, check if the child lock is activated. (Off/0) or alternatively, push in the oven control and turn.

Hot Water
The hot water may run out if several people take long showers. The boiler will need a few hours to heat up more water. Keep shower times short to ensure there's enough for everyone.

Drying Cabinet
Do not overfill the drying cabinet and keep the temperature below 40 degrees. If it stops working, the overheating protection might have activated. To reset, turn both controls to 0 and wait five minutes, or press the red button in the ceiling.

Heating
Controlled via radiators or a main thermostat in the living room. Increase to around 21 degrees if it's cold and reduce to 15 degrees if it's warm. In cabins without a thermostat, adjust the heat directly on the radiators. If there are any problems, contact the reception. Leave the heat on approximately 20 degrees upon departure.

Sauna
Most lodgings have a sauna. One control sets the temperature, the other the start time and duration.
Position 1–3 starts the sauna immediately and you choose the time. Position 3–9 is a timer that heats up after the number of hours you've set. If the heater gets too hot, it will automatically turn off.

Wood-burning Stove
Many lodgings have a wood-burning stove. Open the damper before lighting and keep the doors closed while burning. If it smokes, turn off the kitchen fan or open the front door briefly. Once the fire is completely out, close the damper. When departing, dispose of cold ash in the residual waste.

The Car During Your Stay

Parking
Park in the designated spot intended for your lodging. The roads must be kept clear for snowploughs and emergency vehicles. If you have more cars than spaces, please park at Älvspåret, opposite Kläppentorget.

Charging Electric Cars
Some accommodations have their own charging station, which is only for guests in that lodging. Your booking confirmation will indicate if you have a charging station. Payment is made via an app or other payment methods; no compensation is provided for operational disruptions. If there is no charging station, you can charge your car at our stations at Tranantorget or the parking at Älvspåret. Charging your car using regular sockets or engine heater sockets is not permitted. Violation incurs a fee of 3,500 kronor and may result in the termination of the rental agreement.

If a fire breaks out

  1. Only try to put out the fire if it is safe. There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the apartment.

  2. If you cannot extinguish it, leave the building and close doors and windows behind you.

  3. Call 112 and alert the emergency services, even if the evacuation alarm has sounded. Then contact reception or the emergency service on +46 (0)280 962 00 or +46 (0)280 962 15.
  4. Warn others and meet the emergency services when they arrive.

 

Departure

Digital checklist before departure
In the lodging, there is a QR code to our digital cleaning checklist. Scan the code, fill in the form and upload pictures before you head home. If the checklist is not submitted, a control fee of at least 1,500 kr will be added. If the cleaning is not approved, a fee of at least 2,500 kr will be charged. If you have purchased departure cleaning, make sure to mark it in the form. Start the dishwasher and dispose of the rubbish before leaving the lodging.

Checkout with keypad lock
On the day of departure, you will receive a text message with a link for checkout. Click the link to notify your departure and lock the door before you leave.

Checkout with keys
Lock the lodging and leave all keys in the same key safe as upon arrival, using the same code. Click the link in the text message to notify departure. If keys are lost or not returned, a fee of at least 2,500 kr will be added.
