Kläppen Ski Resort
Warmly welcome to us, Sweden's largest family-owned ski resort and voted the country's best ski resort for families with children. Here, 41 slopes and 22 lifts await, 37 kilometres of cross-country ski trails, fun activities for the whole family and the national arena Kläppen Snowpark, which is voted Sweden's best park.
At Kläppen, we have shaped the mountain so there are runs in all directions, suitable for the whole family. We also have Sälen's longest illuminated slope and the highest vertical drop for the entire family. In total, we have 41 runs, 22 lifts and 37 kilometres of cross-country trails, so there is plenty of space for both young and old to find their favourites.
As a family-owned ski resort, the family experience is especially close to us. That's why all children up to and including 7 years old ski for free with us, we offer free activities, playful moments with Trolle & Trolla and cosy sledge evenings in the children's area. With Gondol Sälen, which has electrically heated seats and beautiful panoramic views, even the journey up the mountain becomes part of the experience.

It all began in 1982 when Per Eriksson trudged over Kläppenberget with great visions. Kläppen is now run by his son Gustav Eriksson, together with his wife Lena Eriksson. The family has spent a large part of their time here with their three children. Together, they continue to develop Kläppen into Scandinavia's most experience-rich mountain destination for families with children.

Kläppen offers four well-prepared cross-country trails totalling 37 kilometres, suitable for all levels. Here you will find the atmospheric Älvspåret, the challenging Bergspåret, the beautiful Toppspåret and three variations of Myrspåret. A perfect way to enjoy nature at your own pace.
Our Slopes
We have a total of 41 slopes and 22 lifts that take you around the entire Kläppen mountain. Here, you can reach an altitude of 657 metres above sea level and enjoy a vertical drop of 315 metres. The longest slope is 3 kilometres and there are a total of 26 kilometres of runs, 10 of which are illuminated for night skiing. On the mountain, you will also find three Snowparks and five piste machines that ensure perfect conditions every day.
SkiingOur Cross-country Trails
For those who love cross-country skiing, Kläppen offers four well-groomed trails totalling 37 kilometres. There is something for every level; the atmospheric Älvspåret at 13 kilometres, the challenging Bergspåret at just over 24 kilometres, the beautiful Toppspåret at 6 kilometres, and Myrspåret's three options ranging from 5 to 9 kilometres.
