The Story Behind the Name

The name of the shop is our tribute to the year 1982, the year Kläppen opened. To preserve the sense of the past, we have fashioned the interior from repurposed materials, all with care and an eye for detail. It is our way to cherish the environment and let Kläppen's legacy continue, while creating a modern and inspiring place where you can find everything you need for your days on the mountain.

    Our ski rental and workshop are located right next to the gondola, conveniently close to both the slope and cross-country trails. We are happy to help you find the right skis or snowboard, so you can make the most of your skiing holiday.
