Welcome to Sjungarbacken

Each apartment has its own style and equipment, making your lodging unique. Here you will find information to make your stay easier and more comfortable. If you need assistance, we are close at hand and happy to help.
We hope you feel at home and enjoy everything that Kläppen has to offer.

Good to know

Faults and deficiencies
Contact reception if something is not working or if you are missing anything. If you have comments about the cleaning upon arrival, let us know no later than 11.00 the day after your arrival at tel +46 (0)280–962 18. For urgent problems when the reception is closed, contact the duty service.

No smoking or pets
Please respect the no smoking and no pets policy. If these rules are breached, a cleaning fee from 2,500 kronor will be charged. The lodging is not allergy-sanitised.

Nighttime - be considerate
Be considerate between 23.00 and 07.00 so that everyone can have a peaceful stay. For disturbances, contact the duty service. Disturbing behaviour may result in immediate eviction.

WIFI and TV
Some cabins have WIFI, which is indicated in your booking confirmation. The code is usually found on or under the router. For disturbances with WIFI or TV, contact tel. +46 (0)280 – 24101 or email service@fritidsfastigheter.eu. You can also use the network KLAPPENGUEST at Hotell Kurbits, Toppstugan and Kläppentorget. The range of TV channels varies between different lodgings.

 

Snow clearance and sanding
Roads, carparks, and courtyard areas are cleared of snow by our contractors. There is usually a broom and snow shovel available at your lodging to keep the entrance clear of snow, please use them and return them afterwards. In case of icy conditions, sand is available in the sandboxes in the area.

 

Recycling
Leave food waste, paper, plastic, metal and other types of waste at our recycling stations. Compost bags are available there. Do not leave rubbish on steps or terraces as it may attract pests. Read more about where your nearest recycling station is located.


Sjungarbacken Plus apartments
give you access to extra facilities that can be booked on site at nearby service buildings. The brochure in the apartment tells you what is available and how to book.

Apartment Equipment 

Household Items
Each apartment has an inventory list of household items. If anything is missing, please contact reception.

Need extra equipment? 
Contact reception if you wish to rent a highchair, cot or linen set. On departure, leave the equipment in the apartment and place rented linen sets in the hallway. 

Dishwasher
If the dishwasher is not taking in water, check that the kitchen tap knob is turned on (on/off).

Cooker
If the cooker is not working, see if the child lock is activated. (Off/0) Alternatively, press in the cooker knob and turn it.

Hot Water
The hot water may run out if several people take long showers. The heater will then need a few hours to heat new water. Keep shower time short so there's enough for everyone.

Drying Cabinet
Don't overfill the drying cabinet and keep the temperature below 40 degrees. If it stops working, the overheating protection may have been activated. To reset, turn both knobs to 0 and wait five minutes, or press the red button on the inner ceiling.

Heating
Controlled via radiators or a main thermostat in the living room. Raise to around 21 degrees if it's cold and lower to 15 degrees if it's warm. In cabins without a thermostat, the heat is adjusted directly on the radiators. If you encounter problems, contact reception. Leave the heating at around 20 degrees on departure.

Sauna
A sauna is available to book in a separate outbuilding. 

Fireplace
The apartments have a fireplace. Open the damper before lighting and keep the doors closed during burning. If smoke comes in, turn off the kitchen fan or open the front door briefly. When the fire has completely gone out, close the damper, and on departure, dispose of cold ash in general waste.

Sjungarbacken Plus
The apartments in the plus concept have access to an outdoor jacuzzi, whirlpool bath, and play and games room.

Car During Your Stay

Parking
Park in the designated area intended for your lodging. The roads must be kept clear for snowploughs and emergency vehicles. If you have more cars than spaces, park at Älvspåret, opposite Kläppentorget.

Charging Electric Cars
You may only charge at our stations at Tranantorget or the parking area at Älvspåret. It is not permitted to charge the car at regular power outlets or engine heater posts. Violation incurs a fee of 3,500 kronor and may result in termination of the rental agreement.

If a fire starts

  1. Only try to extinguish the fire if it is safe to do so. There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the apartment.

  2. If you cannot extinguish the fire, leave the building and close doors and windows behind you.

  3. Call 112 and alert the emergency services, even if the evacuation alarm has been triggered. Then contact the reception or on-call service on +46 (0)280 962 00 or +46 (0)280 962 15.
  4. Warn others and meet the emergency services when they arrive.

 

Departure

Digital checklist before departure
In the lodging, there is a QR code for our digital cleaning checklist. Scan the code, fill in the form, and upload pictures before you head home. If the checklist is not submitted, a control fee of at least 1,500 SEK will be charged. If the cleaning is not approved, at least 2,500 SEK will be charged. If you have purchased departure cleaning, please indicate this in the form. Start the dishwasher and dispose of rubbish before leaving the lodging.

Check-out with coded lock
On your departure day, you will receive an SMS with a link for check-out. Click the link to notify us of your departure and lock the door before you leave.

Check-out with keys
Lock the lodging and return all keys to the same key box as on arrival, using the same code. Click the link in the SMS to notify of your departure. If a key is lost or not returned, a fee of at least 2,500 SEK will be charged.
