Good to Know

Faults and Issues
Contact the reception if something is not working or if you are missing something. If you have any comments on the cleaning upon arrival, please get in touch no later than 11.00 the day after arrival on tel +46 (0)280–962 18. For urgent problems when the reception is closed, contact the duty service.

No Smoking and No Pets
Please respect the no smoking and no pets policy. If breached, a cleaning fee from 2,500 SEK will apply. The lodging is not allergy-sanitised.

Night Time - Show Consideration
Please show consideration between 23.00 and 07.00 so that everyone can have a peaceful stay. If there are disturbances, contact the duty service. Disturbing behaviour may lead to immediate eviction.

WIFI and TV
The WIFI code is usually found on or under the router. If you encounter any issues, contact tel. +46 (0)280 – 24101 or email service@fritidsfastigheter.eu. You can also use the KLAPPENGUEST network at Hotell Kurbits, Toppstugan, and Kläppentorget. The range of TV channels varies between different lodgings.

Snow Clearing and Gritting
Roads, parking areas and courtyard areas are cleared of snow by our contractors. There is usually a broom and snow shovel available at the lodging to keep the entrance free from snow; please use them and return them afterwards. In case of ice, sand is available from the sandboxes in the area. 

Recycling
Dispose of food waste, paper, plastic, metal and other types of waste at our recycling stations. Compost bags are available there. Do not leave rubbish on stairs or terraces as it can attract pests. Read more about where your nearest recycling station is located.

Lodging Equipment

Kitchenware
In each lodging, there is an inventory list of kitchenware. If you find anything missing, please contact reception.

Need extra equipment?
Contact reception if you want to rent a high chair, cot, or bed linen. Leave the equipment in the apartment upon departure, and place rented bed linen and towels in the hallway.

Dishwasher
If the dishwasher isn't filling with water, check that the control on the kitchen tap is on (off/on).

Cooker
If the cooker isn't working, check if the child lock is activated (Off/0). Alternatively, press in the control knob and turn it.

Hot Water
Hot water might run out if several people take long showers. The heater will then need a few hours to heat new water. Keep shower times short so it lasts for everyone.

Drying Cabinet
Do not overfill the drying cabinet and keep the temperature below 40 degrees. If it stops working, the overheat protection may have activated. To reset, turn both control knobs to 0 and wait five minutes, or press the red button in the ceiling.

Heating
The heating is controlled centrally, but you can adjust the radiators yourself. If it doesn't get warm enough, contact reception. Do not turn off the radiators when leaving the apartment.

Sauna
Most apartments have a sauna. One control regulates the temperature, the other the start time and duration.
Settings 1–3 start the sauna immediately and you choose the time. Settings 3–9 are a timer, and the sauna will heat after the set number of hours. If the heater becomes too hot, it switches off automatically.

Wood Stove
Many apartments have a wood stove. Open the damper before lighting a fire and keep the doors closed during burning. If smoke backs up, turn off the kitchen fan or open the front door briefly. Once the fire is completely out, close the damper. Dispose of the cold ash in the residual waste upon departure.

The car during your stay

Parking
Park in the designated area intended for your lodging. The roads should be kept clear for ploughs and emergency vehicles. If you have more cars than spaces, park at Älvspåret, opposite Kläppentorget.

Charging your electric car
Charge only at our stations at Tranantorget or the parking area by Älvspåret. It is not permitted to charge your car in regular sockets or engine heater outlets. A breach of this incurs a fee of 3,500 kronor and may result in the termination of the rental agreement.

If there is a fire

  1. Only try to extinguish the fire if it is safe. There are fire extinguishers and fire blankets in the apartment.

  2. If you cannot extinguish it, leave the building and close doors and windows behind you.

  3. Call 112 and alert the emergency services, even if the evacuation alarm has sounded. Then contact the reception or the on-call service at +46 (0)280 962 00 or +46 (0)280 962 15.
  4. Warn others and meet the emergency services when they arrive.

 

Departure

Departure cleaning
Cleaning is included in your lodging. Please start the dishwasher and leave waste and bottles at the recycling station before you check out. Please note that departure cleaning does not include heavy cleaning or washing up.

Check-out with code lock
On the day of departure, you will receive a text message with a link for check-out. Click the link to inform us of your departure and lock the door before you leave.

Check-out with keys
Lock the lodging and leave all keys in the same key box as on arrival, using the same code. Click the link in the text message to inform us of your departure. If a key is lost or not returned, a fee of at least 2,500 SEK will apply.
