Each cabin has its own style and equipment, making your lodging unique. Here you will find information to make your stay easier and more comfortable. If you need help, we are close at hand and happy to assist you.

Good to Know
Faults and Defects
Contact reception if something isn't working or if you're missing something. If you have feedback regarding cleaning upon arrival, please report it by 11:00 the day after your arrival at tel +46 (0)280–962 18. For urgent issues when the reception is closed, contact the on-call service.
Smoking and Pet Prohibition
Please respect the smoking and pet prohibition. A cleaning fee starting from 2,500 kronor will incur for any violations. The lodging is not allergy-sanctioned.
Night-time - Show Consideration
Show consideration between 23:00 and 07:00 to ensure a peaceful stay for everyone. For disturbances, contact the on-call service. Disruptive behaviour could lead to immediate eviction.
WIFI and TV
Some cabins have WIFI, as indicated in your booking confirmation. The code is usually on or under the router. For issues in Gusjöbyns cabin village, contact tel. +46 (0)280 – 24101 or email service@fritidsfastigheter.eu. You can also use the network KLAPPENGUEST at Hotell Kurbits, Toppstugan and Kläppentorget. The selection of TV channels varies between different lodgings.
Snow Clearing and Sanding
Roads, parking areas, and courtyards are cleared of snow by our contractors. Near the lodging, there is usually a broom and snow shovel to keep the entrance clear of snow; please use and return them afterwards. In case of ice, sand can be collected from sandboxes in the area.
Recycling
Leave food waste, paper, plastic, metal and other types of waste at our recycling stations. Compost bags are available to collect there. Do not leave rubbish on steps or terraces as it may attract pests. Read more about where your nearest recycling station is located.
Cabin Equipment
Kitchen utensils
Each cabin has an inventory list of kitchen utensils. If anything is missing, please contact the reception.
Need extra equipment?
Contact the reception if you wish to rent a high chair, cot, or linen set. At departure, leave the equipment in the apartment and place rented linen sets in the hallway.
Dishwasher
If the dishwasher isn't taking in water, check that the control on the kitchen tap is turned on (off/on).
Cooker
If the cooker isn't working, see if the child lock is activated. (Off/0) Alternatively, press and turn the control.
Hot water
The hot water can run out if several people take long showers. The heater will need a few hours to warm up new water. Keep shower time short so it lasts for everyone.
Drying cupboard
Don't overload the drying cupboard and keep the temperature below 40 degrees. If it stops working, the overheat protection might have been activated. To reset, turn both controls to 0 and wait five minutes, or press the red button on the ceiling.
Heating
Controlled via radiators or a main thermostat in the living room. Raise to around 21 degrees if it’s cold and lower to 15 degrees if it’s warm. In cabins without a thermostat, adjust the heating directly on the radiators. Contact reception if there are any issues. Leave the heating around 20 degrees when departing.
Fireplace
Many apartments have a fireplace. Open the damper before lighting a fire and keep the doors closed during burning. If smoke enters, turn off the kitchen fan or open the outer door briefly. Once the fire is completely out, close the damper; at departure, place the cold ashes in the residual waste.
The car during your stay
Parking
Park in the designated spot intended for your lodging. The roads must be kept clear for ploughing and emergency vehicles. If you have more cars than spaces, park at Älvspåret, opposite Kläppentorget.
Charging electric cars
Charge only at our stations at Tranantorget or the parking at Älvspåret. It is not permitted to charge your car in regular sockets or engine heater posts. Violation incurs a fee of 3,500 kronor and may result in termination of the rental agreement.
If a fire starts

Only attempt to extinguish the fire if it is safe to do so. There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the apartment.
- If you cannot extinguish it, leave the building and close doors and windows behind you.
- Call 112 and alert the emergency services, even if the evacuation alarm has been triggered. Then contact the reception or on-call staff at +46 (0)280 962 00 or +46 (0)280 962 15.

Warn others and meet the emergency services when they arrive.
Departure
Digital checklist before departure
In the lodging, there is a QR code for our digital cleaning check. Scan the code, fill in the form and upload pictures before you go home. If the checklist is not submitted, a control fee of at least 1,500 SEK will apply. If the cleaning is not approved, a charge of at least 2,500 SEK will be made. If you have purchased departure cleaning, indicate this in the form. Start the dishwasher and dispose of the rubbish before leaving the lodging.
Check-out with code lock
On departure day, you will receive an SMS with a link for checking out. Click on the link to notify your departure and lock the door before you go.
Check-out with keys
Lock the lodging and leave all keys in the same key box as upon arrival, with the same code. Click on the link in the SMS to notify your departure. If a key is lost or not returned, a fee of at least 2,500 SEK will apply.
