Each cabin has its own style and equipment, making your lodging unique. Here you'll find information to make your stay easier and more comfortable. If you need assistance, we are nearby and happy to help.

Good to Know

Faults and Issues
Contact the reception if something is not working or if you are missing anything. If you have any feedback regarding cleaning upon arrival, please reach out no later than 11:00 the day after arrival on tel +46 (0)280–962 18. For urgent problems when the reception is closed, contact the on-call service.

No Smoking or Pets
Please respect the no smoking and no pets policy. Breach of this will incur a cleaning cost starting at 2,500 kroner. The lodging is not allergy-proofed.

Nighttime - Show Consideration
Please be considerate between 23:00 and 07:00 so that everyone can enjoy a peaceful stay. For disturbances, please contact the on-call service. Disruptive behaviour can lead to immediate eviction.

WIFI and TV
Some cabins have WIFI, which is specified in your booking confirmation. The code is usually found on or under the router. If problems occur in Gusjöbyns stugby, contact tel. +46 (0)280 – 24101 or email service@fritidsfastigheter.eu. For the Tomtområdet, contact the on-call service. You can also use the network KLAPPENGUEST at Hotel Kurbits, Toppstugan and Kläppentorget.
The range of TV channels may vary between different lodgings.

Snow Clearing and Gritting
Roads, parking lots, and yard areas are cleared of snow by our contractors. A broom and snow shovel are usually available at the cabin to keep the entrance clear of snow; please use them as needed and return them afterwards. In icy conditions, sand is available in sandboxes throughout the area.

Recycling
Please leave food waste, paper, plastic, metal, and other waste at our recycling stations. Compost bags are available for collection there. Do not leave rubbish on stairs or balconies as it can attract pests. Read more about where your nearest recycling station is located.

Cottage equipment 

Kitchenware
In each apartment, there’s an inventory list for the kitchenware. If anything is missing, please contact the reception.

Need extra equipment? 
Contact reception if you wish to rent a high chair, cot, or linen set. Upon departure, leave the equipment in the apartment and place rented linen sets in the hall. 

Dishwasher
If the dishwasher is not taking in water, check that the tap on the kitchen sink is turned on (on/off).

Cooker
If the cooker isn’t working, check if the child lock is activated (Off/0) or press in the cooker knob and turn it.

Hot water
Hot water may run out if several showers are taken one after another. The boiler will need a few hours to heat new water. Keep shower time short to ensure there's enough for everyone.

Drying cabinet
Do not overfill the drying cabinet and keep the temperature below 40 degrees. If it stops working, the overheat protection might have been triggered. To reset, turn both knobs to 0 and wait five minutes, or press the red button on the inner ceiling.

Heating
Controlled by radiators or a main thermostat in the living room. Increase to about 21 degrees if it's cold and lower to 15 degrees if it's warm. In cottages without thermostats, adjust the heating directly on the radiators. If there are issues, contact the reception. Leave the heating at about 20 degrees upon departure.

Sauna
Most cottages have a sauna. One dial controls the temperature, and the other sets the start and duration time.
Settings 1–3 start the sauna immediately and you choose the time. Settings 3–9 are a timer that heats up after the number of hours you set. If the heater becomes too hot, it will turn off automatically.

Fireplace
Many cottages have a fireplace. Open the damper before lighting and keep the doors closed during burning. If it smokes, turn off the kitchen fan or open the front door briefly. Once the fire has completely died down, close the damper. Upon departure, dispose of the cold ash in the rest waste.

The car during your stay

Parking
Park in the designated area allocated for your lodging. Roads must be kept clear for snowploughs and emergency vehicles. If you have more cars than spaces, park at Älvspåret, opposite Kläppentorget.

Electric car charging
Some cabins have their own charging posts, intended only for guests staying there. Your booking confirmation will indicate if you have a charging post. Payment is made via an app or other payment methods, and no compensation is given for any operational disturbances. If there is no charging post available, you can charge at our stations at Tranantorget or the car park at Älvspåret. It is not permitted to charge your car using regular sockets or engine heater posts. Breach of this rule incurs a fee of 3,500 kronor and may result in termination of the rental agreement.

If a fire starts

  1. Only attempt to extinguish the fire if it is safe to do so. There is a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket in the apartment.

  2. If you cannot extinguish it, leave the building and close doors and windows behind you.

  3. Call 112 to alert the emergency services, even if the evacuation alarm has been triggered. Then contact reception or the on-call service at +46 (0)280 962 00 or +46 (0)280 962 15.
  4. Warn others and meet the emergency services when they arrive.

 

Departure

Digital checklist before departure
In the lodging, you will find a QR code for our digital cleaning check. Scan the code, fill in the form, and upload the pictures before you head home. If the checklist is not submitted, a control fee of at least 1,500 kr will be charged. If the cleaning is not approved, a minimum of 2,500 kr will be charged. If you have purchased departure cleaning, please indicate this in the form. Start the dishwasher and take out the rubbish before leaving the lodging.

Check-out with code lock
On the day of departure, you will receive an SMS with a link for check-out. Click on the link to notify your departure and lock the door before you leave.

Check-out with keys
Lock the lodging and leave all keys in the same key box as upon arrival, using the same code. Click on the link in the SMS to notify departure. If a key is lost or not returned, a fee of at least 2,500 kr will be charged.
