Each apartment has its own style and equipment, making your lodging unique. Here you will find information to make your stay easier and more comfortable. If you need assistance, we are close at hand and happy to help you.

Good to Know
Faults and Issues
Contact the reception if something isn't working or if you are missing anything. If you have any feedback on the cleaning upon arrival, get in touch no later than 11.00 the day after arrival at tel +46 (0)280–962 18. For urgent issues when the reception is closed, contact the emergency line.
Smoking and Pet Restriction
Please respect the no smoking and no pets policy. If violated, a cleaning fee starting at 2,500 kroner will be charged. The lodging is not allergy sanitised.
Night-time - Be Considerate
Be considerate between 23.00 and 07.00 so everyone can have a peaceful stay. If there are disturbances, contact the emergency line. Disturbing behaviour may result in immediate eviction.
WIFI and TV
You can usually find the WIFI code on or under the router. If you encounter any issues, contact the reception. You can also use the KLAPPENGUEST network at Hotell Kurbits, Toppstugan and Kläppentorget. The selection of TV channels varies between different lodgings.
Snow Clearing and Gritting
Roads, car parks and yard areas are cleared of snow by our contractors. A broom and snow shovel are usually available at the lodging to keep the entrance free of snow. Please use them and return them afterwards. In case of icy conditions, sand can be collected from the sandboxes in the area.
Recycling
Dispose of food waste, paper, plastic, metal and other types of waste at our recycling stations. Compost bags can be collected there. Do not leave rubbish on steps or terraces as it can attract pests. Read more about where your nearest recycling station is located.
Apartment Equipment
Kitchenware
In each apartment, there is an inventory list of kitchenware. If anything is missing, contact the reception.
Need Additional Equipment?
Contact the reception if you would like to hire a high chair, cot or linen set. Upon departure, leave the equipment in the apartment and place hired linen sets in the hallway.
The Dishwasher
If the dishwasher is not taking in water, check that the knob on the kitchen tap is on (off/on).
Hob
If the hob is not working, check if the child lock is activated. (Off/0) or press in the cooker knob and turn.
Hot Water
The hot water may run out if several people shower for a long time. The heater will then need a few hours to heat up new water. Keep shower times short to ensure there is enough for everyone.
Drying Cabinet
Do not overfill the drying cabinet and keep the temperature under 40 degrees. If it stops working, the overheating protection may have been activated. To reset, turn both knobs to 0 and wait five minutes, or press the red button in the ceiling.
Heating
The heating is centrally controlled, but you can adjust the radiators yourself. If it doesn't become adequately warm, contact the reception. Do not turn off the radiators when you leave the apartment.
Sauna
Most apartments have a sauna. One knob controls the temperature, and the other the start time and duration. Setting 1–3 starts the sauna immediately and you choose the time. Setting 3–9 is a timer that heats up after the number of hours you have set. If the unit becomes too hot, it will switch off automatically.
Fireplace
Many apartments have a fireplace. Open the damper before lighting and keep the doors closed during the fire. If smoke enters, turn off the kitchen fan or open the front door briefly. Once the fire is completely out, close the damper, and after departure, dispose of the ash in the residual waste.
The Car During Your Stay
Parking
Park in the designated spot intended for your lodging. The roads should be kept clear for snow ploughs and emergency vehicles. If you have more cars than spaces, park at Älvspåret, opposite Kläppentorget.
Charging an Electric Car
Some apartments have their own charging posts, intended only for guests in the lodging. This is stated in the booking confirmation if you have a charging post. Payments are made via an app or other payment methods; no compensation is given for service interruptions. If a charging post is not available, you can charge at our stations at Tranantorget or the parking area at Älvspåret. Charging the car in standard electrical outlets or engine heater posts is not allowed. Violation incurs a fee of 3,500 kroner and may lead to the termination of the rental agreement.
If a Fire Starts
- Attempt to extinguish the fire only if it is safe to do so. There are fire extinguishers and a fire blanket in the apartment.
- If you cannot extinguish the fire, leave the building and close doors and windows behind you.
- Call 112 to alert the emergency services, even if the evacuation alarm has activated. Then contact the reception or the emergency line at +46 (0)280 962 00 or +46 (0)280 962 15.
- Alert others and meet the emergency services when they arrive.
Departure
Departure cleaning
Cleaning is included in your lodging. Please start the dishwasher and leave rubbish and bottles at the recycling station before you check out. Please note that departure cleaning does not include heavy cleaning or washing up.
Check out with code lock
On the day of departure, you will receive a text message with a link for check out. Click on the link to confirm your departure and lock the door before you leave.
Check out with keys
Lock the lodging and leave all keys in the same key box as upon arrival, using the same code. Click on the link in the text message to confirm your departure. If a key is lost or not returned, a charge of at least 2,500 kr will apply.
