Kläppens Camping

At our place, camping is not just about the spot you stand on, but the feeling of freedom, community and the tranquillity of nature. From winter days filled with skiing joy to summer's long, bright evenings.

Regardless of the season, you can choose between a season stay or a short visit and stay comfortably close to our large service house. When winter sweeps over the mountain, you are just a stone's throw away from the slopes, the gondola, snowmobile tracks and Kläppen's own grocery store. In the summer, the mountain peaks are reflected in the calm waters of the Västerdalälven, and the days are filled with hiking, cycling, swimming and ice cream breaks in the sun.

Winter camping

In the winter, you live right next to the ski and snowmobile trails. You are close to the ski slope, gondola, ski rental and grocery store. Another big plus is that our service building has both a sauna and a large drying room.

Summer camping

The perfect starting point for all of this summer's adventures in Sälen. Our campsite is beautifully located next to the Västerdalälven river. Here, canoe trips on the river, swimming, and delicious ice cream breaks at our cosy ice cream café await.
