Rent out your cabin through us

Renting out your lodging through Kläppen is both easy and secure. We handle communication with the guest, booking, the practicalities of check-in and check-out, guest services on site, and inspection or departure cleaning. As a cabin owner, you can follow the rental process at any time through your own login on the owners' web. Our aim is for you to find the cooperation smooth, safe, and hassle-free.

Which lodgings do we mediate?
We mediate holiday lodgings in connection with the resort, tailored for guests travelling to Sälen to relax and ski. The greatest demand is for lodgings close to the slopes and lifts, in good condition and preferably newly renovated or refreshed.

Before renting out
Before we begin to mediate your lodging, our Owner Service conducts an inspection. Afterwards, you receive an inspection report and a suggested price bracket for your lodging.

Strong marketing and good occupancy
When you rent out through us, your lodging appears in Kläppen's online booking and through our telephone sales. We use well-established marketing channels, which provide a good chance of high occupancy. In recent seasons, our mediated lodgings have had an occupancy rate of around 90% during weeks 52–14.

Benefits and discounts
As a cabin owner with a rental agreement, you receive a VIP card with discounts on Skipass, ski school, shops, and ski rental. You can also get up to 50% off season passes, and more benefits may apply.

On-site service
During the guest's stay, our caretakers and cleaning staff are available should anything happen in the lodging. Through our rental contract, you as a cabin owner receive favourable rates on caretaking and cleaning services. The lodging is also protected against damage during the stay, for example. If inventory items are broken, we manage and compensate for this according to the terms of the rental contract.
