During Spring Session, Rip Off Sessions is back and an integral part of the event. Created and led by Sven Thorgren, one of the world's absolute best snowboarders. After the success in 2024, we are taking it further this year with a bigger setup, more riders, and an even better atmosphere in the park.
Rip Off Sessions – world-class snowboarding
Rip Off Sessions is a unique snowboarding event where some of the world's top riders gather at Kläppen for a weekend filled with creative riding, spectator-friendly sessions, and relaxed park hangouts.
The focus is on snowboarding, but everyone is welcome, whether you're riding yourself or cheering from the sidelines.
20–30 of the world's best snowboarders
Starting on Friday, 17 April, the weekend kicks off at Kläppen Snowpark, where 20–30 of the world's top snowboarders gather for high-level riding. Expect a vibrant atmosphere in the park, crowd-pleasing tricks, and an evening capped off with lights, music, and fireworks.
Snowboard testing
Chat with knowledgeable staff, test different boards, and feel the difference. Swap models whenever you like and find your favourite.

Here you can see an overview of which slopes are open. The green-marked area shows the skiing surface prepared for features and jumps. The purple lines indicate black slopes that are open for skiing.

Throughout the weekend, Kläppen's Restaurants will manage the grill in the park.
Burgers, sausages, and other tasty treats are served, perfect for a pause between runs.

Sven Thorgren
Sven Thorgren is Kläppen's ambassador and one of Sweden's leading snowboarders. He has won several medals in the X Games and competed in the 2018 and 2022 Olympics. With his drive and joy of riding, he inspires snowboarders around the world. Sven organizes Rip Off Session, one of the world's largest snowboarding events, inspired by his favorite competition, Oxborn Session.
