Are you ready to take your skiing to the next level? During week 9, we invite you to Kläppen 45 km, an evening event where determination, joy and the love of skiing are in focus.
16 runs in Lämmeltåget
Kläppen 45 km follows the same route as Kläppen 90 km. You ski on the three-kilometre long, floodlit slope Lämmeltåget, and to reach 45 kilometres you make 16 runs from the top to the valley. It is quite a challenge but also a fantastic evening on the slope. Of course, there is blueberry soup and wheat buns at the finish, just as it should be when Vasaloppet is the proud sponsor.
How Kläppen 45 km works
START
Gathering takes place at the Gondol Sälen valley station where participants are divided into start groups. New this year is that we only measure the time down the slope, the gondola ride is paused in the timing. You receive a personal chip that records your laps and time.
FINISH
The finish area is at the valley station. Here Vasaloppet offers refreshments and after crossing the finish line, each participant receives a well-deserved medal.
