On Wednesday 26 February, we welcome you to Kläppen 45 km. The course is the same as Kläppen 90 km and goes via the three kilometre long Lämmeltåget descent. To reach a total of 45 kilometres, each participant will ski from the top to the bottom of the piste 16 times.
Vasaloppet is the sponsor of the event and will offer the classic wheat buns and blueberry soup to the participants. After the finish, a well-deserved medal awaits each participant.
Before the start, the participants will be divided into different starting groups, with the first group setting off at 19.00 with Gondol Sälen up to the top. Each competitor will receive an individual chip that records the time and number of rides in the gondola, and the finish area will be at the gondola's valley station.
Arrangements:
- 18.30 - Riders meet at the gondola valley station.
- 19.00 - First starting group begins the race.
- 22.45 - Draw the line.
- 23.30 - Award ceremony. If all participants finish before 22.45, the award ceremony will be brought forward.
