Surprisingly good skiing

Kläppen is Sweden's sixth largest facility with over 30 slopes and an extensive lift system. In addition, Kläppen is perhaps one of the most cleverly planned facilities in the country, and this shows clearly in the comments from our guests who do not think it could be any easier, especially for families with children.
Our geographical location is one of our great advantages, because our facility is located on the west side and is surrounded by dense forest. Since we are also slightly lower than, for example, Sälenfjällen we are also spared the dense fog that otherwise can be quite boring.

Our obvious advantages:

Green, red, yellow and black slopes in all directions. When there are no clouds,  you can enjoy the sun all day.
Light winds. When the wind blows icilyabove the tree line, we offer cosy skiing in the shelter of the woods that surround the Kläppen slopes.
Minimal fog. We are perfectly situated to offer all types of skiing, with the difference that we are often spared the fog.
Sälens shortest queues. Our well-designed slopes and lifts make lift lines pleasantly short.
Kläppen snow. Our location contributes to the quality of the snow which is much better. Simply stated, our snowflakes "tags", with small hooks that lock into each other. The snow is fluffier and the snowflakes stick together better. The snow will be the cover all skiers dream about..
